Luke was talking about being scared and he hoped this medicine was working. We said we hoped so too! We talked about how God is with us when we are scared and how so many people are praying for him. Luke - God"s Masterpiece
[This is a profile we wrote for Luke for his Kindergarten class last spring. The assignment was called "God's Masterpiece"]
Luke has always been such a blessing to us. He brings so much joy to our lives.
Luke is best friends with his brother Jake, and he loves his sister Tori very much. He loves to spend time with all of his family. Every week, Luke gets to see his cousins, his Aunt 'Chell and Uncle Steve, and his Papa and Grammy Lar at church. He spends lots of time with his Grandpa Dennis and Grandma Margie too. Each summer, we go on a special trip with all the cousins and family to a fun place (like the beach!). This is one of Luke's favorite things to do!
Luke Loves to ride his bike -- he learned so quickly! He likes to play basketball and soccer, but loves to play baseball. Luke loves to run around outside with a light saber or a Nerf gun in his hand. Or he likes to use his hands inside to build Legos, Imaginext, Bionicles, or K-Nex. He likes sitting at the computer, or playing his PS2. Luke also enjoys quietly solving puzzles, coloring, drawing pictures, and even enjoys doing school work and homework.
Luke is mischievous, joyful, brave, intelligent, loving, honest, athletic, outgoing, creative, sensitive, hilarious, thoughtful, hard-working, full of life, artistic, and Godly. Luke loves the Lord very much. He asked Jesus into his heart when he wa four years old. Luke is faithful to pray about things that are on his mind, and he always enjoys reading the Bible. Luke loves to perform his own worship songs. He works to live in a way that makes Jesus happy.
God really did an awesome job when He created Luke. This boy is a gift to us. Luke is God's Masterpiece!
